Farmers’ package: Distribution of relief packages soon
The NADRA has been asked to ensure a mobile van at each centre for verification
SARGODHA:
A list of 37,758 farmers in Sargodha district, eligible for relief under the farmers package announced by the prime minister, has been compiled after a survey and sent to the government, DCO Saqib Manaan said on Tuesday. “Farmers who were left out, but who meet the criteria, can contact the additional district collector’s office to add their name to the list.” Seven one-window operation centres had been established in the district and a payment centre would also be set up in each tehsil. The NADRA has been asked to ensure a mobile van at each centre for verification. The DCO said distribution of relief would start in the next few days. He said there were 400 centres set up in the province for this purpose.
