KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court sent a suspected agent of the Indian spy agency, Research and Analysis (RAW), to prison on a two-week remand in a terrorism-related case. Nadeem was taken into custody by the law enforcement agencies over allegations of having contacts with the RAW. Earlier, the court had sent the suspect to police custody. The suspect is said to be an activist of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and an employee of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board. On Tuesday, the investigation officer produced the suspect before the court as his police remand expired. The judge also directed the investigation officer to submit a charge-sheet against the suspect, Nadeem, and was ordered to be present on the next date of hearing.
