2 killed in attack on shrine in Karachi
The deceased are identified as Khamiso and Sawan
KARACHI:
At least two people were killed and four injured on Friday when unidentified gunmen attacked a shrine in the Korangi area of Karachi.
According to details, armed men resorted to indiscriminate firing at a Zinda Pir Shrine located in Mehran Town, Kornagi Industrial Area that left two people dead and four other wounded.

Immediately after the incident, heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies were deployed at the site while the rescue services shifted deceased and injured to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
The deceased were identified as Khamiso and Sawan.
Korangi Industrial Area Station House Officer (SHO) Shahjahan Lashari said that the victims were the regular visitors of the shrine adding at least four armed men riding on two motorcycles were involved in the attack.
The SHO also said that the investigation has been initiated.
