Star-Crossed Affair: Plea filed against wife, her boyfriend

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Old Anarkali SHO in connection with a citizen’s petition against his wife and her alleged paramour for swindling him.

Petitioner Muhammad Fahad said he had discovered that his wife, Saima Kanwal, was in a relationship with Qamaruz Zaman a few months after their marriage. He said he had also noticed that some of his household articles had gone missing from his residence after his marriage. Fahad said he had also recently discovered that they had fraudulently withdrawn some money from his bank account. The petitioner asked the court to direct the Old Anarkali SHO to register a case against them.
