Making headway: PESCO to revise load-shedding schedule

PESHAWAR:
The board of directors of Pesco has said that if they follow the provincial government’s recommendation and revise the load-shedding schedule they will face a deficit of Rs5 billion. This was stated in a handout issued by Pesco’s public relations department on Monday. According to the document, the announcement was made during a meeting held in the city. “The board said they will revise the schedule if the government is ready to bear the expenses,” read the statement. “During the meeting, Pesco Chief Executive Hassan Fazil gave a comprehensive presentation on how the company could recover from losses and address issues resulting from direct hooks.” The handout added that the company has decided to split the Hazara circle into two – Abbottabad and Mansehra.
