MARDAN: A retired Military Intelligence official was shot dead over a family feud in Mardan on Sunday night. According to a police report, Rafiullah had retired from MI service three years ago and was living with his family in Bakhshali area of Mardan. The police official added some armed men approached him in the evening and open fired, killing him on the spot. A police official added the deceased’s relatives said he had a dispute with some other people in the area. An FIR has been registered, but the names of the accused were withheld.
