Applicant says governor violated constitution by travelling without informing speaker of the assembly.

LAHORE:
An application was filed against Governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer in Lahore High Court calling for his disqualification, on Monday.

The applicant requested that the court disqualify the governor as he had violated Article 104 of the constitution when he had allegedly travelled abroad without informing the speaker of the provincial assembly.
