Degree verification: CDA freezes salary of non-compliant employees

ISLAMABAD:

The Capital Development Authority management on Thursday ordered to freeze salaries of employees, who failed to provide their education credentials for verification within the deadline.  Around 900 officials furnished their credentials within the deadline for verification.

In this context, the Human Resource Development Directorate has been directed to compile a list of all the officials who have not submitted their degrees to the authority and forward the list to the accounts directorate so that their monthly salaries could be withheld with immediate effect.

A CDA official said that strict action will be taken against the officials, who have not submitted their educational credentials, besides freezing their salaries and allowances.
