Balochistan: Lawmakers pay tribute to Benazir

QUETTA: Lawmakers in Balochistan on Sunday paid tribute to Benazir Bhutto and termed her a champion of democracy who laid down her life for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan.

Talking to APP on the eve of Bhutto’s third death anniversary, PPP’s parliamentary leader in Balochistan and Minister for Communications and Works Mir Sadiq Umrani said that Benazir had revived democracy in the country by sacrificing her life at historical Liaquat Bagh.
