SIALKOT: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has formed special vigilance teams to detect and halt the use of generators on gas by all domestic, commercial and industrial consumers. According to SNGPL General Manager Gujranwala Faisal Tayyub, the use of generators on gas has increased by the consumers due to load-shedding of electricity, adding that SNGPL has planned to halt the increasing use of power generators on gas. GM added that SNGPL teams were going door-to-door checks, saying that gas connections of the consumers would be disconnected instantly if any accused was caught red handed while using generators on gas.
