In a statement released on Friday, the poll body said no development schemes and public funds can be released by the provincial governments once the schedule for local government is announced.

H Chaudhry | 9 years ago | Reply Stupidity at best! So no development should happen because some by polls are happening! In any case the schemes and development initiatives are on paper for long time so technically releasing money for them now is not illegal. It is for any "NEW" schemes. @Ishrat The hazara expressway project was announced years ago and started about 1 year ago so what Mian Sahab did is exactly what he should have done, remind people before polls what they are doing! There is a limit to being a stupid in laws that is why people find ways around it. Abolish this crap.
