Three murder convicts on death row are scheduled to be hanged at the Bahawalpur Central Jail early morning on September 3.
A press release issued by the Bahawalpur Jail superintendent on Monday said that Bahawalpur District and Sessions Judge Nisar Ahmad had issued death warrants for two murder convicts on death row – Muhammad Khan, a resident of Chishtian tehsil, Bahawalnagar district, and Muhammad Boota, a resident of Haroonabad tehsil, Bahawalnagar district.
Rahim Yar Khan District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Abdul Qayyum had issued death warrants for Qaisar Muhammad, a murder convict.
The three prisoners will be hanged at the same prison on September 3.
