FAISALABAD:

The provincial government has directed the Police Department and other law enforcement agencies to compile a report of sensitive locations in the province so that tight security arrangements can be made for the month of Muharram.

The police spokesman said on Monday additional police force would be deputed at sensitive points in the province including public points, worship places, shopping centres and business areas. He said the public has been requested to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity in their locality. He said superintendents of all towns have been told to compile a report on sensitive points in their respective areas and submit it at the earliest so that further measures can be taken ahead of Muharram.
