Achievement: Girls top positions in PU exams
BSc student Hafsa stood second securing 695 marks and Fasahat Fatima stood third securing 675 marks

Girls took the top three positions in the Punjab University’s Annual BA/BSc examinations. The results were announced on Thursday. A prize distribution ceremony will be held on Friday at 9am at the university’s Al-Raazi Hall. BSc student Ayesha Khan bagged the overall first position, scoring 699 marks out of 800. BSc student Hafsa stood second securing 695 marks and Fasahat Fatima stood third securing 675 marks. Ramla Tayyab took the first position securing 674 marks in BA examinations. Azhar Ali stood second and Ume Kalsoom stood third with 656 marks. 121,658 candidates appeared in the BA/BSc examinations of which 48,582 candidates passed the exam. The pass percentage was 39.93 per cent.
