LAHORE: Agha Ghazanfar, who returned on Thursday to resume charge as Aitchison College principal, was briefly stopped from entering the premises before being allowed to enter the principal’s residence. On July 28, the Board of Governors had deposed him and appointed Headmaster Ameer Hussain as acting principal. Ghazanfar said a Lahore High Court Bench comprising Justice Mamoon Rashid had suspended the order. He said he would file a complaint in the LHC against the college administration. He later filed a complaint with Race Course police. Ghazanfar has told the media it appeared that he was being punished for upholding merit.
