Delimitations: LHC summons ECP on Sept 7

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) issued a notice to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday on a petition challenging delimitations ahead of local government elections. Counsel for the petitioner told the court the delimitation process was not fair. He said the provincial government had intervened in the matters by amending the law related to delimitation. He requested the court to declare the delimitation process void. The court scheduled a hearing on September 7.
