UET faculty complete training
Training was largely successful and provided useful assistance to faculty members

As many as 30 faculty members of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar completed five-day training under the Active Citizens Programme. Under the non-profit programme, the youth are encouraged to engage in social work by developing sustainable pilot projects to address poverty, literacy and climate change.
The initiative has been organised by British Council Pakistan and the Higher Education Commission.
The session was conducted at the varsity’s main hall. During the session, teachers were informed about the programme which will be a part of the undergraduate curriculum from this year. Speaking on the occasion, UET Peshawar acting vice chancellor Prof Dr Noor Muhammad lauded the efforts of the organisers. He said the training was largely successful and provided useful assistance to faculty members. He assured full cooperation on part of the varsity for the success of the programme.
