Argument: Security guard kills colleague, himself

LAHORE: A security guard committed suicide on Monday after killing his colleague following an argument, police said. Investigation incharge Ehsanullah said Nijat Khan, 23, a resident of Kohat, and Shakeel Qasim had worked as security guards at a private courier company’s warehouse in the Quaid-i-Azam Industrial Estate Area. He said Khan first shot Qasim and then himself. They were taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced them dead. Police said they had registered an FIR on the complaint of Shakeel Qasim’s father, Qasim Ali. They said they had taken the bodies to a morgue for autopsy.
