The Establishment Division Islamabad has selected 178 officers of grade 19 to attend a six-month-long Senior Management Course starting on August 24.
He said the provincial government is likely to go for a massive, administrative reshuffle with the departure of officers in K-P for in-service training in Karachi.

The Establishment Division Islamabad has selected 178 officers of grade 19 to attend a six-month-long Senior Management Course starting on August 24.
One of the requirements to be promoted from BPS 19 to grade 20 is to attend this course, an officer at the Civil Secretariat in Peshawar told The Express Tribune. The grade 19 officers selected to participate in the course come from various administrative departments. The participants would remain in the Institute of National Management Services in Karachi for six months, he said.
The official added this course is likely to create severe problems in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, since it is already facing a shortage of senior management staff. A number of senior Grade-19 officers, occupying important offices in K-P, are being sent to Karachi to attend the course.
