A source confirms that the show will start as per Salman's availability of dates.

Ever since the Bollywod megastar hosted Bigg Boss season 4 in 201o, ratings for the show skyrocketed.
After partly hosting season 8 with Farah Khan, the actor announced that he will not be hosting the upcoming season due to his busy schedule. However, according to the latest buzz, the Kick actor will be returning for season 9.
"The modalities are fast being worked out. We will start the show as per Salman’s availability of dates," a source was quoted saying, reported Bollywoodlife.
PHOTO: COLORSAfter hosting two consecutive seasons -- 6 and 7 -- Salman has ups and downs with the makers of Bigg Boss. It was reported that the actor's busy schedule and an increase in the remuneration were factors behind Salman's lack of interest towards the show.

Earlier, a source close to Salman revealed that he is firm on the decision to quit hosting. “He has made his decision very clear. In fact, the channel has already started looking for celebrities to host the next season of the show," the source was quoted saying.

Following Salman's decision, the channel was reported to have approached Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh as potential substitutes.
