Police assure traders of addressing concerns

The business community continues to play a vital role in promoting the local economy and the police will take every measure to address their concerns.
This was stated by SSP Operations Sajid Kiyani while speaking to a delegation of traders on Tuesday. The delegation was headed by Kashif Abbassi, president of the city’s traders’ association.
The SSP said traders had always played their role in restoring peace to the city, adding that measures are being taken to ensure community policing in order to resolve common concerns. The police official thanked the delegation for their cooperation, and added that elaborate security arrangements had been made in the city in collaboration with the business community.
Abbassi and other representatives said the business community appreciated efforts by the police in providing security to the people.
