RDA, WASA: Over Rs2b uplift schemes on the cards

The WASA schemes include installation of 13 tube-wells worth Rs40m in NA-54

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and the WASA have given final touches to launch Rs2 billion uplift schemes.


According to an official, the RDA schemes include up gradation of Stadium Road from Murree Road to IJP Road at a cost of Rs162.922 million, reconstruction of a road from Ammar Chowk to Karal Chowk at a cost of Rs502m and carpeting of a road from the Government Housing Foundation to Adiala Jail at a cost of Rs284.644 million.

The WASA schemes include installation of 13 tube-wells worth Rs40m in NA-54, water supply scheme at a cost of Rs79 million in the NA-56, upgradation of the Rawal Lake filtration plant at a cost of Rs135 million.
