Chinese Ties: LCCI chief stresses on cooperation

He said the corridor was ample proof of unbreakable Pak-China historic friendship

LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce &Industry (LCCI) Vice President Syed Mahmood Ghaznavi urged Pakistani and Chinese entrepreneurs to expedite their efforts to enhance the trade volume. Talking to his Chinese counterparts on Thursday, he said businessmen of both countries should identify new areas for joint ventures. He said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would start a new era of trade and economic cooperation, therefore, Pakistan’s private sector should avail this opportunity. He said the corridor was ample proof of unbreakable Pak-China historic friendship. He said economic globalisation and regional integration had provided enormous opportunities for further cooperation between China and Pakistan. “Pakistan is an ideal destination for foreign investment and should be given top priority by Chinese investors.”
