Domestic issue: Woman commits suicide in Swat
A case has been filed and further investigation is under way

In yet another case, a woman shot herself dead in Aobha, Swat on Thursday. An official of Malam Jabba police said the incident occurred in a remote area of the district. He added the deceased, Lubna, was married to Imran for the last three years. Imran had left to work abroad and Lubna was not happy with the decision. She would ask him to return whenever he would call, added the official. However, the issue continued and on Thursday Lubna took her own life. A case has been filed and further investigation is under way. There has been a surge of suicide cases in Swat mostly involving married women.
