Skill development: 2,500 women to be trained

PESHAWAR:
The government will train 2,500 women under the Khyber-Pakhtunkwa Skill Development Programme. This was said by Advisor to Chief Minister on Social Welfare Mehr Taj Roghani. Addressing a seminar on women rights at a hotel in the city on Thursday, Roghani said the government is working on numerous reforms that will help bring unskilled women into the productive sphere of the society and help them attain economic independence. She said the department will set up vocational training centres in Swat and other districts in this regard.
