A group exhibition of art showcasing the beauty of Pakistan was put on display at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) in connection with  the Independence Day celebrations.


At the exhibition tilted ‘Beautiful Pakistan’, work of a diverse group of artists has been put on display. Member Punjab Assembly Lubna Rehan Pirzada and RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed inaugurated the exhibition.



The work of Farzana Rashid, H Gul, Haji Pervaiz, Hameed Falak, Younis Roomi, Abdul Wajah, Fouzia, Zaheer and Shahid has been put on display.

Over 50 oil and water paintings, as well as figurative pieces are on display. Pirzada said that “this rare collection of works depicts the beauty of Pakistan” and lauded the artists for presenting the country’s positive image.

The exhibit continues till August 9.
