A senior official of Balochistan Assembly confirmed with The Express Tribune that PML-N Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti along with other MPAs have submitted the resolution.  The resolution will be presented during the August 7 Balochistan Assembly session.

Statement of Sindh CM

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah in a statement issued from the CM House on Wednesday said that the police and Rangers have made unforgettable sacrifices for the restoration of peace in Karachi.

He added that “when peace returned to the city an unconstitutional demand for deployment of NATO and UN forces in Karachi has been made. This is an injustice to the people of this city, law enforcement agencies and the commitment we had made to our people.”

Sindh Chief Minister added that Mohajirs or Urdu speaking persons living in Sindh are Sindhis and “no excuse should be taken in their name to invite any other country and no other country has any right to interfere in the internal affairs of Pakistan.”

He condemned Altaf’s statement saying, “Only an insane person can think to approach any foreign country, particularly India,” he said.
