According to a report in Times Of India, the Rowdy Rathore star is going to be playing the notorious gangster who reigned the Mumbai underworld after her husband Ismail Parkar was killed by a rival gang.
Sinha has often been accused of not experimenting much with her choice of roles with the sole exception of Lootera. But she has definitely taken some strides to change all that.
This is not the first time Sonakshi would be doing a movie based on the underworld. Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara! had her play the love interest of the gangster (supposedly based on Dawood Ibrahim's life). This time though she dons the titular character as the 'Godmother of Nagpada' and would definitely be breaking some norms.
