Supermodel Ayyan turns 22, spends time with children at Edhi Foundation

ISLAMABAD: As Ayyan Ali turned 22 on Friday, the supermodel--now infamous for alleged money laundering--visited an orphanage in Islamabad to spend time with the kids.

“Distributed some gifts... spent whole day there :-) time passed so quickly while chatting with these lovely children thank u for all the love and prayers that I got during my visit !!,” said Ayyan about her visit to the Edhi Foundation on Facebook on July 31.



“ALLAH bless them all with successful careers and whatever they desire for,” she added.

She also tweeted about her birthday, thanking Allah and her fans for the love and support.



Ayyan was released on July 16 after spending four months in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.

She was arrested on charges of money laundering by customs’ officials from Benazir Bhutto International Airport on March 14 after $506,800 were recovered from her luggage.

While in custody, Ayyan made headlines numerous times for everything from ‘VIP treatment’ to ‘transforming the atmosphere’ at Adiala jail. Her judicial remand was extended 16 times before finally getting a bail.

mjk | 9 years ago | Reply Han han bibi, kero damage control. By the way, anyone who wears sunglasses inside a building looks plain stupid. Everything that you people do is a publicity stunt, nothing to do with real emotions for these children.
