A woman allegedly stabbed her younger sister during a domestic dispute in the Airport area of Rawalpindi, while the body of a man was found in a garbage heap in Dhoke Ratta rescue officials said. The victim, identified as Nazima Pervaiz, 27, was stated to be in serious condition at Benazir Bhutto Hospital. She was stabbed in the neck and abdomen at her house in Dhoke Hafiz on Thursday around 11am. The police have started an investigation.


The body of an unidentified man was found in a garbage heap in Dhoke Ratta on Thursday. The police reached the spot after being informed by a passerby and shifted it to District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The deceased has yet to be identified. Further investigation is under way.
