From Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in Saawariya to Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in Student Of The Year, we have seen Bollywood superstars' mini-mes come a long way. The latest one to join the league is none other than Sunil Shetty's daughter, Athiya Shetty.

Athiya is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's production Hero. She will star alongside Aditya Pancholi's son, Sooraj Pancholi, who will also appear on the silver screen for the first time.

It will be a big break for Sooraj as he had earlier sparked a controversy over allegations of abetting his girlfriend's, (actor Jiah Khan), suicide in 2013.

Athiya is already elated by the response of her upcoming film's trailer. "I'm super excited. Touch wood. I feel blessed that we've gotten such good reviews. I hope all of you enjoy the movie. And I feel very happy that so far we (her and Sooraj) have been accepted," she told IANS.

She also revealed the compliments she has received for her look in the film. Athiya said, "The compliments are mostly that it (the film) looks young and I look fresh. And that it looks entertaining so hopefully that's what comes across".

Directed by Nikhil Advani, Hero is a remake of 1983's romantic-action film starring Jackie Shroff, who gained popularity with his lead role, also called 'Jackie'. The upcoming film is slated to be released on September 25 and also stars Govinda, Anita Hassanandani, Vinod Khanna and Kader Khan as the supporting cast members.

Athiya was recently spotted on the red carpet of Vogue Beauty Awards. The newcomer had cut a dazzling figure in Gauri and Nainika's mustard gown.
