Four people committed suicide on Thursday.

A police spokesman told The Express Tribune a 23-year-old resident of Abadi Aziz shot himself following an argument with his parents.


He said the body of an elderly resident of Chak 418-GB was found hanging from a tree a graveyard. He said his family believed he had hanged himself.

The spokesman said a woman in Chak 649-GB swallowed poison after an argument with her in-laws.  Separately, a 35-year-old resident of Chak 120-GB hanged himself after an argument with his wife over financial matters. He had four children. A woman from Chak 209-RB swallowed poison after quarrelling with her family. She was taken to a hospital where doctors said her condition was critical.
