Critical condition : Two boys injured as toy bomb explodes
They were subsequently shifted to Peshawar for treatment after their condition deteriorated

Two children were injured when a toy bomb went off in Nala Tochi area in Bannu on Tuesday. Shahzeb, their father, told the Huwaid police Mudasir, 10, and Hasnain, 5, found a toy lying on the ground while they were playing in the area. According to Shahzeb, the boys picked up the toy and were about to take it home with them when it went off. Both boys were wounded and were initially rushed to District Headquarters Hospital Bannu. However, they were subsequently shifted to Peshawar for treatment after their condition deteriorated. Police registered a case and started investigation.
