Reasons unknown: Woman hanged to death

CHARSADDA: A woman was hanged to death at her residence in Kausarabad area of Charsadda within the jurisdiction of City police Monday night. According to a police official, unidentified men barged into the house of Hussan Pari, a mother of seven, and hanged her to death. They managed to escape following the incident. The official said the deceased’s husband has been living abroad for the past two years. She was buried on Tuesday. Police registered a case and started investigation.
