Crime Branch police claim to have arrested three members of a banned organisation, whose name has not been disclosed, during a targeted raid in Surjani Town on Sunday.
The suspects were planning to carry out target killings during Eidul Fitr, said SSP Shahjahan Khan. The militants, Abdulla Mufti, Danish Ahmad, Majeed Ibrahim, were involved in target killings, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, collecting donations and financing their organisation. The police recovered three hand grenades, three pistols and 12 rounds of bullets from their possession.
