Balochistan govt fires five Levies personnel for negligence in Kadh Kocha bus attack

The Deputy Commissioner of Mastung Ali Akbar Baloch on Wednesday dismissed five personnel of the Balochistan Levies for their negligence in the Kadh Kocha incident.

As many as 23 passengers were gunned down in Kadh Kocha area of Mastung when two passenger coaches, travelling from Quetta to Karachi were flagged down by militants on May 29.

According to a Police spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Mastung had terminated the men because of negligence in their duties in Khad Kocha levies check post.

“The Balochistan levies personnel were on duty at that time, but did not responded,” the spokesperson said.

The Balochistan Levies personnel who were dismissed were identified as Rasaldar Mohammad Ayub, Hawaldar Abdullah, Hawaldar Abdul Malik, Sepoy Gull Mohammad and Sepoy Saeed.
