LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) on Monday recorded bullish activity by gaining 66.65 points. The LSE 25-share index opened at 6,173.97 points and closed at 6,240.62. The market’s overall situation, however, did not correspond to the upward trend as volumes stood at 952,200 shares against previous turnover of 2.133 million shares, a decrease of 1.181 million. Of the 79 active stocks during the day, 23 moved up, 15 shed values and 41 remained equal. The top three major gainers of the day were Attock Refinery Limited, General Tyre and Rubber Company and Treet Corporation, which recorded increase of Rs11, Rs7.24 and Rs3.73 respectively in their share values. Pakistan Oilfields Limited, Engro Corporation and Pakistan Petroleum Limited lost Rs10.43, Rs5 and Rs3 respectively in their per share value.
