Behind Bars: Police round up eight suspects

Police have also arrested four professional beggars

ISLAMABAD: Police have arrested eight suspects from various areas and recovered liquor, weapons and stolen goods, a police spokesman said on Friday. The Karachi Company police arrested a suspected bootlegger, identified as Shah Zaman, with 16 bottles of liquor. The Bhara Kahu police arrested four suspects identified as Faisal Jabbar, Raees, Adil, Gul Sher and recovered a Kalashnikov, a 9mm pistol, 10 magazines, 224 bullets and stolen goods. The Banigala police arrested a suspected thief, identified as  Saqib Junaid, and recovered stolen property from him while the Secretariat police arrested Asif and Waqas with stolen items. Police have also arrested four professional beggars.
