Alleged murder: Complaint against police officials dismissed
The judge dismissed the complaint saying that witnesses produced by Arif were not the eyewitnesses
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday dismissed a complaint filed by a woman for the registration of a case against two police officials involved in the killing of husband in a staged encounter.
Dilshad Arif told the court Model Town CIA officials – Inspector Malik Fayyaz and Sub-Inspector Ibrar Hussain – had raided her home and took her husband, son and a daughter to the police station. “They released my daughter and son after two months but did not release my husband,” Arif said.
She said the police officers had asked her husband to transfer his property to them.
She said when he refused they killed him in a fake encounter.
The judge dismissed the complaint saying that witnesses produced by Arif were not the eyewitnesses.
