
QUETTA/ KARACHI: At least 10 people were killed and 35 others were injured when a bus carrying pilgrims to Shah Noorani shrine overturned in the Hub district of Balochistan on Friday.
According to reports, the accident occurred at around 2pm near the Mohabat Faqiri area of the shrine. Seven people died on the spot, whereas the injured were shifted to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital Hub.
A spokesperson for the Edhi Foundation, involved in the rescue operation, told The Express Tribune that the accident occurred when the bus overturned due to over-speeding.

The deceased include six women, while children were also among the injured, he added.
The victims were residents of Shah Faisal Colony and were going to attend a festival at the shrine starting from 9th of Ramazan.
