Sindh govt Task force set up to curb terror funding

The decision was taken in view of the observations raised by the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh in the apex committee meeting

KARACHI:


The Sindh government has set up a task force to gather evidence about various channels of funding to militant organisations and give its recommendations to the provincial authorities.


The decision was taken in view of the observations raised by the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh in the apex committee meeting held in the new Sindh Assembly Building, Karachi on Wednesday about financing of terrorists through different methods including bhatta collection etc.


The committee will work under chairmanship of justice (retd) Ghulam Sarwar Korai with district and session judge (retd) Arjun Ram K. Talreja and home secretary Mukhtiar Hussain Soomro.
