Via Radio : Police to hear public complaints

Islamabad Police will listen to public complaints every Wednesday at the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) FM radio 92.4

ISLAMABAD: Police officials of SP rank will listen to public complaints every Wednesday from 3pm to 4pm at FM 92.4. According to a police spokesman, IGP Tahir Alam Khan has directed all police officials to present themselves for accountability and listen to public complaints with a purpose to improve their efficiency. He said officers of SP or above rank in the Islamabad Police will listen to public complaints every Wednesday at the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) FM radio 92.4 from 3pm to 4pm. The IGP said it will help inculcate a ‘friendly police’ environment and resolve problems of people on a priority basis.  The move will also ensure prompt action on complaints and create awareness among people about their rights. The IGP stressed that people can lodge their complaints without any hesitation and every possible effort would be made to solve them.
