ISLAMABAD:

A six-year pending Toshakhana vehicles case against President Asif Ali Zardari, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and others has seen no progress even 16 months after its transfer from a NAB court to an FIA court.

Special Judge Central Humayun Dilawar on Thursday adjourned the hearing of the case without proceedings after the FIA failed to submit a challan report. The case was deferred until June 2.

The case was transferred to the special judge central on December 12, 2024 following amendments to NAB laws. A total of 17 hearings have been adjourned without progress since then.
