Preparations: Security plan for Lodhran finalised, DPO says

During namaz-i-travih and other prayer times police officials will be deployed

Lodhran DPO Gohar Mushtaq Bhutta said on Wednesday a security plan for places of worship during Ramazan had been finalised.  He said four DSPs, five inspectors, 37 sub inspectors, 44 assistant sub inspectors, 42 head constable, 349 constables, and 269 volunteers had been deployed for the security of mosques and imambargahs.  He said six teams of the Elite Force officials would be on stand by.  During namaz-i-travih and other prayer times police officials will be deployed at mosques, imambargahs. He said people entering mosques would be searched.  He said a control room had been set up at this office to monitor security arrangements. He said it would be headed by the Legal DSP.
