Safer roads: 300 LTV drivers complete training

Training was imparted using driving simulators, multimedia mechanical lab, cockpit drills, road sign exercises

LAHORE: The training of the second batch of 300 light transport vehicle (LTV) drivers concluded at the NH&MP Training College on Tuesday. The training was organised by the National Highways and Motorway Police and Punjab Skills Development Fund project. NH&MP Inspector General Saleem Bhatti said that the drivers got jobs in various multi-national companies on the completion of their training. He said English, Arabic and Urdu were taught to the participants of the three-month training course. “Training was imparted using driving simulators, multimedia mechanical lab, cockpit drills, road sign exercises and practical driving on a state-of-the-art driving track,” he said. Later, Bhatti distributed certificates and cash awards among the position holders.
