Missing facility: Cholistan schools to get potable water
The PEF is not only providing education, it is also working to lift the standard of education

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will provide clean drinking water to 75 Cholistan community schools in Bahawalpur division, PEF Managing Director Aneela Salman said on Sunday.
She was speaking at a ceremony to distribute water coolers among teachers of community schools.
Salman said the PEF would work with the Cholistan Development Authority to provide potable water to 7,000 students and teachers at their schools. She said the PEF had been striving to provide quality education to students. “We are committed to promoting girls education in remote areas.”
Salman said the foundation believed that all children should have access to schools. “The PEF is not only providing education, it is also working to lift the standard of education. The foundation holds quality assurance tests annually to determine the academic standards at schools.”
The PEF managing director urged the corporate sector to fulfil its social responsibility towards promoting education.
