Religious obligation: Arrangements made for Ramazan in jails

LAHORE: Immaculate arrangements have been made in all jails across Punjab to provide quality food to the inmates during the fasting month of Ramazan for Sehr and Iftar on the direction of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. IG Prisons Punjab Mian Farooq Nazeer told APP on Sunday that nearly 52,101 under trial prisoners and convicts, kept in 32 jails across the province, will observe fast during Ramazan. As per the new menu, inmates will be served chicken six days a week and beef on one day. Tea prepared with tetra pack milk will continue to be served daily.
