With red carpets across the world becoming fashion runways, Hollywood and Bollywood leading ladies don’t miss a chance to hit the mark. These B-Town divas wowed Malaysia as they channeled glitz and glamour in red on the green carpet of this year’s IIFA.

Deepika Padukone

No wonder she was named IFFA’s Woman of the Year. With time, Deepika has marked her presence not only with her acting prowess but also by raising the bar of fitness for maintaining her perfect curves. Not to forget her distinct fashion statement that never fails to compliment her captivating personality.  Draped in a red and gold sequined saree by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Deepika instantly caught many eyes as she arrived on the green carpet. She beautifully represented a modern-day eastern woman. Hair elegantly tied up in a bun, nude eyes and red hot lips had everyone gushing over her beauty. Her chunky gold earrings complimented the gleaming embroidery on her saree.

Anushka Sharma

While earlier it was a crimson disaster in the form of Katrina Kaif at Cannes,  now we have quite a spectacle. It seems like love has become a lucky charm for this beauty. With recent successes at the box-office, Anushka didn’t fail to miss the mark at IIFA either. She succeeded in cutting a dazzling figure in a Gauri and Nainika bright red strapless gown, telling us that you really don’t need an international designer to pull off this look. The mermaid dress perfectly hugged her curves. Nude eyes with fine liner paired with red lips quite similar to Deepika’s, shows the season’s latest trend. The chic wavy bob is all one needs to rock this summer. The bold pearl ring in Anushka’s finger adds more grace to her ensemble.
