A new comic-book tribute to the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is set to arrive on December 13 — a release date timed to the singer’s birthday and designed to feed a cultural moment already thriving on crossover fandom.

The project, produced by TidalWave Comics, blends celebrity romance, sporting superstardom and the couple’s expanding mythology into a glossy 22-page narrative pitched at readers who have followed their story from a flirty podcast mention to a high-profile engagement.

The comic, titled ‘FAME: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce — A Love Story’, traces the pair’s journey from their first meeting to their engagement earlier this year, weaving together episodes that have played out under intense public scrutiny.

According to its synopsis, the publication takes an alternating-perspectives approach, exploring how two people accustomed to different forms of fame navigate a relationship that has become a pop-cultural talking point.

TidalWave describes the tone as “romantic and humorous”, a blend that mirrors the public image of a couple whose worlds of music and sport collided unexpectedly. The story’s release marks the latest entry in TidalWave’s long-running ‘FAME’ series

TidalWave also included a biographical comic devoted solely to Kelce. That instalment, published in early 2024, charted his rise from college football to the NFL, his hosting turn on ‘Saturday Night Live’, his podcasting ventures and his philanthropy.

It also included early snapshots of his relationship with Swift, acknowledging a partnership that boosted league visibility, lifted merchandise sales and generated a stream of media fascination.

This new edition leans far more heavily into the romance itself, folding in splashy moments, imagined exchanges and scenes built around the couple’s evolving dynamic.

Promotional material from the publisher promises a mix of “heart, humour, and a few unforgettable texts”, underscoring an effort to appeal to Swift’s global fan base as well as Kelce’s NFL following.

The comic will be released in print and digital formats, with a portion of its sales going to the Humane Society, continuing a charitable element present in several previous TidalWave releases.

The publication lands as the couple continues to draw sustained attention, particularly as Swift balances her career with Kelce’s football commitments. Their engagement, announced earlier this year, has only heightened the appetite for stories that blend celebrity intimacy with the drama of top-tier sport.
On that front, the publisher appears confident: for Swifties, football fans and the simply curious, this is a love story with enough momentum to carry it well beyond its birthday launch.
