KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) vice president, Sherry Rehman was elected unopposed as senator from Sindh on Monday. This was announced in the provincial election commission on the day of scrutiny of her nomination forms. “Though the formal notification of the seat has yet to be issued, she has won the election,” said provincial election commissioner, Tanveer Zaki. Later, talking to the media, Sherry Rehman described the federal budget as anti-people. “I will represent the case of Sindh and other provinces in the senate,” she said.
